No cycling till China!

Hello All,
Well, that's it, we finished cycling Latin America and have made it all the way to California after 13542km and just over 9 months of hard pedalling from Buenos Aires.
Baja California was truly amazing. Sorry we didn't give much news, we were too busy keeping cool on the many beautiful beaches! It was hot - hottest ever actually - but our homemade ice-box at the back of the tandem saved us a few times, as well as the cool breeze (which we usually call head wind) from the Pacific Ocean.
We also went Baja 1000 crazy and took the tandem 100 miles off-road across the hot stony desert. Photos here.

We are now chilling out in California, ready for a family road trip (by car) with Karen's parents and brother. Holidays for everyone!

We hope you all have a lovely summer. More news (and a trip report for Central/North America) soon, along with the remaining journals.
Best wishes
Karen & Ben
