Kung Fu Magic

Well, a third of the way through both China and our tourist visas seems to prove that we are on schedule. We have arrived in Xi'an (population only 6.6million!), Shaanxi province but now the mountains are awaiting us .... Our detour to Shaolin Si Buddhist Temple was a great experience and the Army of Terracotta Warriors was another highlight. We have split the photos as we have taken too many (again): Temples and touristic sights are here. Chinese Lowland photos are here. We are still just as bad at communicating but at least now everyone knows where we come from. We do still have to point frantically at noodles to get fed though! The next part of the journey to Chengdu will take us through some hilly ground but the Giant Pandas will be a reward.
