Pacques 2006:Le Retour à la Realité

Bonjour à tous

Ca y est, le voyage est terminé. Nous avons retrouvé nos amis et famille en Angleterre et nous sommes (presque) prets à recommencer une vie à Leeds.

Ce fut tres agreable de finir le voyage par 4 jous en Angleterre, depuis l'aeroport de Londres jusqu'aux parents de Karen dans le Sud Ouest. On a meme visité des endroits bien touristiques (le Chateau de Windsor!) et apprecié la tranquilité du canal que nous avons longé pendant 2 jours. Par contre, il a fallu se rehabituer au froid, surtout dans la tente qui etait couverte de glace tous les matins!

Nous serons a Blanot et Fourmagnac cet été pour retrouver nos amis et famille en France.

Route: Beijing to Zhengzhou on the 107, Shaolin Si, Luoyang, Xi'An, 108 to Chengdu, Leshan, Emei Shan, Small Roads to Xixhang, 108 to Kunming. 213 and samll road to Mohan and Boten (Laos). Route 13 across Northern Laos to Vientiane via Oudomxai, Louang Prabang, Vang Vien. Small roads in north eastern Thailand from Nong Khai to Phimai (via Phu Prabat historical park, Si Bun Ruang, Phukiou, and Bua Yai), then big roads to Ayataya, Damnoen Saduak, coast roads to Chumpon, across to Ranong (with quick visa run to Mayanmar), and to Phuket. Then boats and small roads to Ko Lanta, Trang, Georgetown (Malaysia), then small roads along west coast of Malaysia all the way to Kuala Lumpur.
